Bajaj Pulsar 200NS

Back in 2001, the Pulsar twins started a revolution of sorts. The advent of Brand Pulsar pioneered the democratization of performance biking, offering affordable motorcycles which were not mere commuters. 10 years on, Brand Pulsar, as we know it today has an unparalleled Indian fan base.
With the 200NS, the designers at Bajaj have created a new visual identity for the Pulsar without making an aberration from the brand’s core design principles. The new version seems more balanced, more modern and more contemporary. The Pulsar 220 looked horizontally elongated, thanks to its half fairing and the distance of the headlamp from the handlebars. The meat of the bike has been packed more closely together on this one, for a tighter, more compact and ‘ready for action’ look. The overall proportions, the front heavy stance and most importantly, the tail section are some of the things which form a strong connect between the new and the old. Those meaty headlamps, giving the NS200 it’s wicked face, that chunky tank with an extended top and that meaty rubber are some of the highlights of the NS200’s design. Conspicuous by absence is the sneaky little exhaust can, positioned stealthily beneath the underbelly, lending the bike a sharp, sexy and unusually clean rear. Those lightweight alloys too are the sexiest ever seen on an Indian bike.Details such as the saber tooth tank extension, sporty aluminium finish rear footpegs, 135LS-style rear number plate mounts and the new frame itself further do their own bit to add to the aesthetic appeal of the machine. Some of the elements like the front fender, and the front headlamp with their two-tone finish look rather busy though.
With the insertion of another spark plug Bajaj now claims the bike to be more fuel efficient and an increasied engine performance. though the pricing on this baby hasn't yet been decided, it is fair to espect something near 1 lakh. Since 220F costed around 90 G, it is fair that this particular bike with better looks nd performance could take another 10 more to the price tag. Remember that here we would buy any Bajaj power products with mean looks and power; experiance taught us.

The meaning of science..

To define science itself may not be a simple task, for it could be defined in many ways and forms. The basic idea is that it is something that is well established. It can be called a field or area
of study defined my humans. It defines logic to us. It separates reality from fiction or assumptions.
The basic function of science is based on logic. It finds answers that we do not know or not sure of by proving it logically, mathematically or physically; with the
help of theories, calculations and data analysis.

In modern terms science is the pursuit of knowledge, not knowledge itself. A much closer definition in terms of Aristotle says that science refers to the body of reliable knowledge itself,
the type that can be explained logically and rationally. To a person like me science is the
technology that is surrounding me all the time, where ever I turn to. From my clothes, watch, mobile to whatever I see through my eyes is science to me. It doesn’t matter if the object I look into is alive or dead, working or not working, I see science everywhere. In this century it is difficult to see that there is not at all anything that could not be defined by science. Well there
may be a few exceptions like the stories of ghosts that we often hear from our elders. Still, some recent studies have shown the existence of some sort of super natural (which basically is not natural) radiations or emissions of some kind that create such an environment or situation that makes us feel the presence of a ghost near us.
Science has always been there. It was just a matter of time that somebody come up with a logical reasoning to define it. The evolution of mankind is closely related to the evolution of science.
The prehistoric man or those belonged to the stone age discovered a lot of things during their time. some of it they dint even know how. It was not until the later ages that one could explain what it was. This marked the evolution of science. From that time onwards thinkers of various generations and civilizations have started to record their time and actions, and preserve them
for the later generations. This stored information contributed a lot to scientific development. As time passed more information was gathered and the science evolved into various branches for ease of access.
The modern day science is a mixture of a lot of information. This is one field that
grows every minute. The limitations to this knowledge base is unfathomable. For
me it can be said that it is what that keeps me alive and active.
